Bessie Ruth Rice

Mrs. Bessie Ruth RICE, 61, died at 7 a.m. 
Tuesday at her home on North Broadway. She
was the former Miss Ruth LITCHFIELD, 
daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John 
Litchfield, and for a number of years was 
employed by the Boston Store and Eskind's 
Store here. Surviving are the husband, Guy 
Rice; a sister, Mrs. Byrdie MARAMAN, 
Providence; and a brother, James R. 
Litchfield, Springfield, Ill. The body is 
a Tapp Funeral Home where funeral services 
will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon. 
The Rev. Robert O. WILLIAMS will officiate. 
Burial will be in Big Hill Cemetery.
