Adeline Rice

Adeline White Rice, 81, of Elizabethtown, Ky., formerly 
of Campbellsville, Ky., died on Thursday, July 3, 2003, 
at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown after an 
illness.

Daughter of the late Brack White and Ada Smith White of 
Taylor County, Ky., she was a member of First Baptist 
Church, where she was a member of the senior choir.

Rice was a retired employee of Union Underwear Company.

Survivors include one daughter, Cornella Price Stewart of 
Elizabethtown; one granddaughter, Aliesel Rebecca Myers; 
and one great-grandson, Lance Buttermore of Elizabethtown.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Woodrow 
White; and five sisters, Louise Sanders, Lorine Frazier, 
Loretta Smith, Isabelle Penick and Dorothy Williams.

Funeral was at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 8 at Lyon-DeWitt 
Funeral Home in Campbellsville. Burial was in Brookside 
Cemetery. The Rev. George P. Lee II officiated.

Pallbearers were Sparky Taylor, Robert Lewis Durham, Mark 
Sanders, Matthew Sanders, Torrie Smith, Stephan Taylor, 
Paul Allen Mitchell, Paul Anderson and George Bailey
