VIRGINIA FAIRCHILD

Oil Springs resident Virginia Kay Fairchild, 52, died Friday,
June 9, 2000 in Lexington.

Mrs. Fairchild was born March 24, 1948, in Johnson County, to
the late Roy L. and Ollie Mae VanHoose Rice.

Surviving are her husband, David Fairchild; three daughters,
Cristina L. Fairchild, Carrie L. Fairchild and Davina K. Rivers,
all of Oil Springs; three brothers, Seth Paul and
James Leon Rice, both of Nippa, and Francis Rice of Louisa;
one sister, Stella McCarty of Nippa; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, June 12, at Tom’s Creek
Freewill Baptist Church, with James Kelly Caudill and
M.T. Womack Jr. officiating.

Burial was in Rice Cemetery at Nippa, with Jones-Preston
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
