BERNICE CONLEY

Bernice Conley, 53, died August 14 at his home here after a
two-year illness with tuberculosis.

Mr. Conley had been a resident of this city his entire life,
and was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church.

He was born September 7, 1900 a son of George and
Minnie Rice Conley.

Surviving are one son, Edgel Conley, U.S. Army, two daughters,
Mrs. Dotty Jo Williams, City, Mrs. Margie Ratliff,
Detroit, Mich., and two sisters, Mrs. Eunice Daniel,
City and Mrs. Muriel Dallas, city.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Free
Will Baptist Church on Third Street
by Rev. Vern Conley and Rev. Earl Rowland.

Music was by the Toms Creek Quartet.

Burial was in the Town Cemetery under the direction
of the Preston Funeral Home.
