Retired truck driver Clyde Combs, 84, died Wednesday,
January 10,2001 in Columbus, Ohio.

Mr. Combs was born April 8, 1917, in Johnson County, to
the late Benjamin F. and Zora M. Rice Combs.

He was retired from Mutual Manufacturing.

Surviving are his wife, Goldia Combs; three sons, Wendell
of Chillicothe, Ohio, Harvey of Columbus and Don of
Albany, Ohio; one brother, Morris Combs of Dayton, Ohio;
four sisters, Zora Conley of Paintsville, Pansy Witten
of Wittensville, Hazel Witten of Ashland and Joy Roach
of West Virginia; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday at Preston Funeral Home
Chapel, with James Thacker officiating.

Burial followed in Combs Cemetery at Wittensville.
