| Race Report for Race # 4 --------------------------------------------------- Thunder Storms Colton--71,,,,Wayne --70,,,,Jeff-- 68,,,Zayne--66,,Cole--66,,Nate--64,,Rick--63,,,Dylan--61,,Pat--61,,Nick--59 ----------------------------------------------------- Pro -- S/S A-Main ------------------------------------ The seats are packed today with a rough crowd !! They are ready for some great racing.The drivers are prepaired to give them just that..The sun is out and its a sweet 74 degrees here in Michigan on december 9th. :). The track looks awsome, the esses are smooth & the straight are straight !! :) The 4 qualified drivers will be ... Jeff in Gutter Red,,,,,Colton in White,,,,,Rick in Blue,,,, & Wayne in outside good gutter Yellow.... After the last race,, Wayne has been doing a lot of talking... !!! He has told his sponsors to be ready , he is on a tear and is ready to take over the points lead today !!! Coltons pit crew has been listing to all the Bull coming the Hettler camp and says he will win the race today with ease... Well all the talk has got around to all the garages & of course Rick is a not one to talk much, his crew chief has done the talking for him.!!! Jeff tells the TV crew that after he gets out of Red lane he will be putting down some bad ass laps and he will get the victory. !!!! Well it's time to drive instead of talk.. Lets get it on. !!!!!!!! Ok, the race is on,, and Jeff is allready had a couple offs in the gutter..Colton is not having a great run on white either.... Rick is also off the pace, Wayne is allready up on the field by a couple laps!!! ( but he is in a good lane ). The drivers are starting to settle in and make some laps. At the end of the 1st segment Wayne is backing up the talk with the lead and 32 laps.. Colton @ 29,,,, Jeff @ 25 and Rick just 1 lap back with 24. They line up for segment # 2,,, There off.. !!!!!!! Wayne is now in gutter red so it's time for the other drivers to get back some laps. Colton will be in Blue, one of his favorite lanes, Jeff is in the other center lane , White. That puts Rick in the outside good gutter Yellow. Wayne now has allready came off 2 times early in the segment. With Jeff & Colton in the center lanes they are flying and Colton has made up 2 laps of what Waynes lead was. Jeff also has gained a couple on Wayne too, but he needs more. Rick is off the pace and will need to do better if he plans on winning this race. At the end of segment 2 we see the lead change, with Colton now being the leader, he has really put some laps down and now has a total of 65,,, Wayne is hanging on to 2nd with 59 and Jeff has pushed Waynes bumper in with 58 laps, Rick is limping along with a total of 48. The drivers prepair the cars for segment # 3. The shoes are polished, tires are cleaned & oil has been applied. The flag drops and the cars roar off down the track. Colton, the leader at this time will be on the good gutter of Yellow .Jeff on Center Blue where he should be able to make a move. Wayne is only up on Jeff by 1 lap and will be in the other center lane, White. Rick will have to try to get around Red.. Just shortly into the segment Rick has had trouble on the Gutter and is way off pace,,Wayne has also had trouble on his lane ( center White ) not a good thing for him . With the segment just past 1/2 way, Wayne has fell way off the pace, while Colton seems to be just fly-in in the Yellow gutter lane. Jeff is not having a great run on Blue, where he should be good.. At the end of the segment it looks like this...... Colton--98,,,,Jeff--87,,,,Wayne--83,, & Rick with 67. Well with 1 more segment left Wayne will be in Center Blue where he can make some laps.!! Colton has a good lead, but will have to hold them off in the Gutter Red lane, not an easy task.!!Jeff will be on Yellow and Rick in White. Rick continues to be a little slow & Wayne need to get moving if he plans on winning this or even getting by Jeff for 2nd.Jeff has a 4 lap lead on Wayne and need to gain 11 to catch Colton..With Colton on Red anything can happen. WOW.. @ the 1/2 way point of the last segment Wayne has gained a couple on Jeff, While Jeff struggles to just stay ahead of Colton who is in the gutter and just plain going fast !!! Can Wayne get 2-3 more on Jeff to take second ? It looks like Colton will be winning this from the gutter if nothing happens .. The checkered flag falls and........................... Colton has put a whoopin on us with 130 laps,, Wayne just misses 2nd by 1 lap.. So 2nd goes to Jeff with 118 and Wayne gets 117,, Rick gets a total of 89. Wow what a race for 2nd !!!! |

| Race Report for Race # 6 ----------------------------------------------------------- Modified - Top - 4- from Pro & Am.. We had 11 Racers.!!!! Am.--Zayne--137,,,,George--116,,,,Nate--106 & Scott--105 Pro---Wayne--152,,,Colton --151,,,,Jeff--142 & Kevin--141 ------------------------------------------------------------------ S/S - A - Main Well it was time to line up for the S/S - A - Main.. Colton won @ the last race,, Wayne won the race before that. So its time for a new Winner. It would be up to Jeff or Kevin to take over the rein of S/S Champ..can one of these drivers step up to the plate and put down a great performance in todays Main? The track has been cleaned and preped for the race. The cars have been tuned.The crowd is ready, the hot dogs are bought & the beer has been poured. !!!! Todays line up will be like this. Wayne - Gutter Red to start,,,Kevin - White,,,, Jeff--Blue & Colton on the good gutter Yellow.. OK,, the timer is set, the lap counter cleared,, The flag drops,, there off. !!!! Oh no RED is holding Wayne back a little. Kevin is getting off to a nice start and getting into a grove. Colton & Jeff are battle-ing back & forth for the early lead.. At the end of the 1st seg. its Jeff with the lead by sections over Colton both have 34 laps.Kevin @ 30 & Wayne back a couple with 25. Now they move to the second seg. Wayne goes to the Center and will be on White.Kevin stays in the center and moves to Blue.That Puts Jeff on the good gutter Yellow & Colton will have to race in RED...there off. !!!! WOW... Colton is cooking with a great rythm on Red. Wayne & Jeff pile up in the esses.. Kevin slips by both of them while the marshalls go to work..When the dust settles after the 2nd seg.. Some how Colton has moved into the lead from RED.......... What the @#%#@,, !!!!! :) Jeff just behind him by 2 laps with 65,,, Kevin has held on to 3rd with 60 laps. Wayne is off pace with only 54 laps,,He will have to run to his pit to make a couple changes.. Wayne will now be in Blue,,Kev. in Yellow, Jeff to RED,,,, & Colton has the 2 center lanes left.. doesn't look good for the other 3 guys.. With a couple offs early in the segment Wayne is falling back... Kevin is holding a nice pace and staying on..Colton is kissed us good by and is off & running!!! Jeff is doing well on RED but has had a couple offs but the marshalls got him back on quick..At the end of the 3rd seg. the total are...... Colton---103,,,Jeff--95,, Kevin--120,, & Wayne--83..There is only 1 seg. left in the race. If Jeff or Kevin are going to win this ... Colton will have to burn down,, :) because he has Blue lane left..Jeff on White ,, Kevin will go to dreaded RED,,,Wayne on Yellow. Wayne made a rear end change for the last seg. The flag drops.. Wow, its a clean race so far with no offs by any of the 4 cars..The marshalls are getting board..Its a fast pace for the race to the checkered flag..At the end its...................... Colton with a good win with 140 laps. ( 5 laps back of the track record ) Jeff in 2nd with 129. 1 lap off the total that won the race the last 2 races...Kevin gets 3rd with 120 & WAyne did make a good run on yellow and got a total of 116.. |
