| On Valentine's Day weekend in February 2003, I took Jenny to our first Bed and Breakfast, Vogt Farm near Lancaster, PA. Below are pictures of our room, "Gramma and Grampa Brubaker Room". |

| We largely had our kitchen remodeled by Jenny's dad! It took a few months, little by little, but the final result was really worth it! Above is the "BEFORE" picture, and below are the "AFTER" pictures! CHANGES: - Cabinets were actually thrown away from a job Jen's dad was working on. They are in great shape for being used, much better than the ones we had! - New double sink, stove, dishwasher, counter, and oven hood. - New floor from ugly pink vinyl squares to stone-like ceramic tiles. STILL TO BE DONE: - small grey tiles covering white wall arranged in diagonal instead of horizontal. - new fridge eventually! NOTES: In the top right of the bottom picture, that is where our pot rack hangs from the ceiling. In the bottom right of that same picture, that is our microwave cart. Behind the spokes in the top picture and the wall with the lights in the bottom picture, there is a stairway downstairs to our basement. |

| Last Christmas (2002) I gave Jen a new 20-gal starter fish tank. Here are a few pictures of our "fishheads". As of the end of 2003, We have two of the red fish (bottom, left) and two of the grey fish in the picture on the right (tail is moving in upper right of picture). We have a blue gourami that is a fat pig compared to the rest! We also have an upside-down catfish (that does literally swim upside-down) but I couldn't get a picture of him because he's always hiding underneath the rock! |
