10 hours later Tommy and Lori were still walking and of course seen not a trace of Merton.And now they were in the middle of nowhere and obviously lost not to mention cold.
"Oh Tommy I think we're lost"
"Yeah I wonder where Merton is we've been walking for hours and haven't seen a trace of him.I bet he's even more lost then us"Tommy said crossing his arms rubbing them.The cold was getting to him as the day quick changed to night.
"Should we stay here or keep looking"Lori asked putting her hands to her face blowing warm air on them but only slightly warming them up.The cold obviously affecting her as well.
"I know staying in one place is what the boy scouts say but if we stay here the cold is going to do us in.Besides I would rather be lost together with Merton knowing he's alright then be lost knowing he's alone.I mean I could change into a were wolf for some extra warmth not that if gets too cold it will help but he has nothing."Tommy sighed trying to shake the image of a cold shivering Merton in the woods from his mind.
"Thats it Tommy why didn't you think of that before.Wolf out you can find Merton with your super wolf sense of smell.
"Yeah" Tommy said as he wolfed out.He stopped for a sec and sniffed the air "It's faint but it smells like he's over there pointing further down the trail.Lori went running with Tommy close behing to the direction Tommy has pointed to.Then out of nowhere Lori dropped out of sight and before Tommy could register what happened he dropped out of view to.Darkness swirled around them both screaming falling, searching sor something and then Tommy found Lori's hand. and reached his left paw high and grabbed for a ledge a rock jutting out anything.His paw grabbed down hard on a rock for a moment they were safe.
"Lori you ok"
"Yeah you good"
"Yep for the moment I don't know how long I can hold on."Even with wolf powers he knew he wouldn't hang on for long.Well he was wasn't losing his grip but the rock started to crack"Crumbling almost under their weight.
"Uh Lori the rock is cracking
"Tommy no you got to hang on."
"I am what can I do the rock is breaking"
"Hold on"
"Lori brace yourself"Tommy yelled as the rock finally grave.Tommy even tried to wolf down to lessen the weight but it didn't work and now they were falling again.
Then they fell with a bang.To there surprize there was no pain and they seemed to land on something soft.
"Where are we":Tommy asked
"Don't know but I bet it's where Merton is"
"Yes my dear Lori and Tommy I presume."The Breaded man asked.
"Mr.Malice what are you doing here.Did you find Merton,Where are we?"Tommy asked He didn't have to ask He knew the answer already be he was hoping he was wrong.
"Yeah kind of,this a under ground emergency station, please follow me.Mr Malice replied gesturing for them to follow.To Tommy's surprize that wasn't the answer he was expecting to hear.They followed the door of the cave is."He'll be here momentary.

The time Tommy and Lori were lost Merton was digging in the mine. The mines were dimly lite and dark.Merton was coved in dirt his closes were ripped and torn.He had a few cuts and bruises too.His face was pale even more pale then usual his spiked hair was flat against his head.His eyes were narrow filled with both fear and exhaustion.He has been working nonstop for the past god knows how many hours.He didn'[t dare stop for a rest he had seen what they do to the people who don't work fast enough or fight or speak against the cursed digging.He was digging in the soil and there was a rock in his way so he wasn't as fast as he could.One of the musle men came up to him and yell in his ear in a way that would scare a drill sergent. "speed up put your back into it.Your only been working 10 hours some here have worked much longer then that." So that answered how long he was digging question. He pushed poor Merton into the wall and told him to speed up.He got off lucky he had seen some people get whipped for the same offense.In about 10 minutes later the musle guy came back.Merton was terrified that he was in for more punishment but that fear doubled when he learned of the guy's true purpose.
"Skinny kid you got vistors" the musle guy bellowed as he was torn from his work not that he minded the torn from work part but he knew who those visitors were.Even whose he knew what would be their fate.Merton was pushed into the door.Then he was kicked into the other room and trippped falling on his heads and knees.
"Merton"Tommy yelled running towards his friend.
"Oh my God"Lori whispered falling in step behind Tommy.Merton was tring to get up to worn his friends.Suddenly a pain came to the back as his face hit the floor.
"Did I tell you could get up"Bellowed Mr.Malice
Tommy stopped dead in their tracks in shock of what they saw.
"You get off him"Tommy stated in a harsh hated manner.His anger was peaking he could feel the wolf in side wanting to burst out.He shifted his eyes quickly from Malice to Merton.His eyes flared for a sec seeing his friend in pain.Merton however was mouthing something to him.From what he could tell it was something like don't wolf out.Tommy nodded and tried to calm down.
"I'm guessing your enjoy your friend's company"Mr.Malice said producing a gun from his back pocket."Lets make a deal you friends life for you labor nothing hard just a little digging"
"No don't Lori Tommy run get away" Merton yelled from the floor.This surprized Malice a bit he never had a worker so bold before especially with the treatment and work this kid got.Merton saw the shock his words gave him and was able to free himself from the weight of the man.See years of being the victim of bulling is good it gives you an edge when fighting.When free he quickly kicked the legs out from under the guy.Tommy and Lori didn't waste anytime either.Tommy wolfed out and Lori came out kickboxing. Merton left his friends up to the Malice guy he had a biigger thing on his agenda.He ran to the cave door and punched out the Muscle guy and stole the keys.As he run in the cave he fought off two other guys.this actually felt good he was in the zone as you might say a power house.He was going to free the people.The whole of the chains were all connected to one part of the wall.He quicky open up the lock and yelled at the top of his lungs "Run get out your free."The people all cheered and slipped out of their chains. and headed for the door. Merton leading away of course who knew he the leader of an angry mob. They stopped when they reached the lobby and saw that the muscle men was fighting with Malice and surrounded Tommy and Lori. "Charge" Merton shouted as his group helped Lori and well the werewolf angainst Malice at last the fight was over and the labors was the winners.Tommy (he dewolf in the chaos) Lori and Merton tied Malice and his Men up.Together with the workers they brought them to the ski center and thier tale was told.Tommy , Lori and Merton were heros for saving them.But Merton got a speical medal for freeing the workers from the cave (yeah Merton).Malice and his men were arrested with a list of charges a mile long that was sure to keep him behind bars.The government brought up the mountain for the oil reason to be protected in case there was a emergency.
