"One hell of a week hey Tommy" Merton stated.
"Yep and now it's time for some R+R"
"Yes us men of action need to rest sometime"Lori walks over and sits down.
"Ready to go find some world crazed eco demon?"Lori asked as she sat down the only response she got was the guys jaws on the floor.
"Relax I'm kidding I'm just as beat as you besides the women of action need rest just as much as the men of action do."As if on some sick twist of irony the minute those worlds left her moutn a olded gentlemen comes in the factory.Natural the room seem to turn and stare in his direction.The room seemed to hush it was out of place to see someone older walk into a hip teen club.The man walked over to the stage withour a second thought of the band already up there.He asked for the microphone well actually it was more like rippeing if from the hands of the band leader
"Young people of Pleasantville I'm looking for anyone to aid me in capturing the werewolf known to plague your town."As soon as the words werewolf was spoken he was booed off the stage.The people of pleasantville seemed to have their fill of werewolf hunts started by T.N.T nevermind this wacko.T.N.T run up to him.
"Hey Me and My bro will hunt the wolfman down for you"Travis said.
"Yeah we have a few things to settle with him"Tim confirmed
"Excellent will start tomorrow"The gentlemen agreed as T.N.T and hime shook hands and then went back to their table yelling "T.N.T rules". The words the gentleman spoke were not true thought he had plans of starting the hunt tonight and the key was sitting over at the bar.
"I don't think we need to worry about another blood thristly mob"Tommy said as he leaned over to Merton
Later that night Tommy Lori and Merton walked out of the Factory.It was late and all had plans to go home and get to bed.Tommy and Lori was tricked into having Merton read the first 100 pages of his transcipt.Merton was the last out of the Factory and he didn't notice the shadow of the man behind him.
"Excuse me are you Merton Dingle"A voice can from behind Merton
"Um Yeah"Merton asked uncertainly
"I've been meaning to talk with you"As the gentleman came into the light "See Merton before coming to this town I did some reasearch on it inhabitants and of all the people here I think you might help me the most."
"Me I make a good receponists but I don't think I can be much help to you"Merton stated trying to make his voice obey him.
"Well I think you can" He calmly stated reaching into his back pocket "I think you know who the werewolf is and I'm willing to pay for that infomation.How does a thousand look"Taking his wallet out of his pocket and pulling out a wad of a hundreds.
"Wow thats alot"Merton said shakingly "I wish I could help you"
"Ok you would make a good business man you drive a hard bargin 5 thousand"
"As I stated before I wish I could help you but I don't know the werewolf personally I would love to know one but he hasn't grace me with his appearance yet." Merton stated hoping this freak with his wad would believe him.After the Muffy thing he had vowed never to tell anyone about Tommy's secret.Merton looked into the mans eyes and confirmed orginal statement "Sorry I can't help you" The mans eyes flared and pushed Merton into a wall that was behind him.
"If I find out you do know the identity of the werewolf you'll live to regret that answer"He yelled before disappearing into the shadows.Leaving a greatly confused Merton crumpled by the wall.Merton got up and debated if he should find Tommy now and tell him of the run in but he soon thought against it he didn't know who the guy was and from what he said it sounded like he kept tabs on the people of the town.If that was the case who could say that he wasn't following him now.Hell he could even know that Tommy is the werewolf already.In short Merton decided to walk home but now he was a little more aware of his surroundings.
The next day Lori and Tommy came over to Merton's Lair.They found him not in a tux like he usually does when he read his scipts but over his computer with books all around.Merton looked up and neriously said "I think we have a problem"
"Whats up"Tommy asked
"You know that old guy in the Factory last night"
"Yeah"Tommy and Lori said together
"Well the guy came up to me last night.He tried to give me 5 thousand for your identity Tommy 5 thousand.Then when I refused he pushed me and threaten me that if I knew who the werewolf was and wasn't telling him I'll live to regret it.I mean people make threats to get what they want all the time but if someone starts offeing 5 thousand dollar rewards we got something to worry about"
"Well no worries there Merton.Noone knows who I am but you and Lori and you won't sell me out"
"Right Tommy but the point he tring to make if he makes this reward public if anyone has a idea anyones a werewolf he going to hand over that person.It will be a modern day Salem Witch Trial umm Werewolf trial"Lori said
"Yeah there's that but this guy he's bad news I entered his profile into the big game database on the net and he'd hunter and hunts just about eveything.Mostly everything he hunted he caught.He has major bucks behind him as well and from our little chat last night it sounds like he did his homework on Pleasantville.I swear the guy had to have stalked me to pick me out of the crowd like that at the factory"Merton stated nerviously "He could be bugging this convesation as we speak"
"Merton first your not hard to pick out of crowd second your being paranoid"Tommy said calmly
"But Tommy if your going to be ovely under calm please be careful." Merton asked
"Yeah Tommy don't make me find you taking unnessary risks or I'll have to beat you K"Lori said in sweet tone.
"Uh fine lets go fine this guy or something"Tommy said heading for the door.Merton and Lori just look at each other.
"Do you think he heard a word we said"Merton asked
"What do you think look at him"Lori yelled pointing towards the open and empty door where Tommy disappeared from.Then the ran after him. "Tommy wait up"
Later that day those unnessary risk Lori asked Tommy not to take were about to come to be.See the gang was good all day but when night came they figured they would continue their nice problem free non-demon fighting day with a quick dance and drink at the factory right wrong they never got to the Factory for something happened that changed the rest of the week.
