A Rainy Night

The rain spears through the cloudy sky,
As fast as a bullet but not as deadly.
Raindrops on the windows glitter like diamonds,
So beautiful yet unloved.

The familiar street lamps look more tender,
the slippery ground reflects their loneliness.
The watery music mixed with my hold breath
becomes one mighty chorus.

O Aqua,Aqua!
Cleanse my soul!
Stay with me
Until the dark melts into a new day.
