Info : Vinett was an indies band that was pretty popular and it seemed they had the potential to get really big in the next few years, but sadly they disbanded not too long ago.
Their concept seemed to be cute and happy, which was noticeable in their music; their songs were a mix of punk, rock and pop, sounding very bouncy and cute. But it was also noticeable in their looks; five fresh, smiling young men.
Biography : Vocalist Kei and guitarist Shuri (both former Eliphas Levi) started Vinett in August 2002. Later Rinka (former Celluloid), Ray (former Aliene Ma'riage) and Katsura (former Shazna and Baiser) joined the band.
Their first single Twinkle Twinkle was released in August 2003. It was a great debut single for the band. It sold for 500 yen at concerts, and it sold out very quickly. A good start for the band!
On the 3rd of June, 2004, the bassist Ray decided to leave the band and join another band, Nega.
A little later in August, Yu~u replaced him. They also released their second maxi-single heart” in the same month.
Their first album, happy followed only a month later. It contained 14 tracks, and it definitely made their fans happy.
Things seemed to go really well for the band, and they announced their first one-man concert. The title was Are you happy?” and it was at the Meguro Rorumeikan, on the 21st of January 2005.
It came as a complete surprise for the fans as the band announced at their concert on December 22nd that they would disband.
The concert on January 21st, was their first one-man concert but at the same time it was their last as well
