1989 : Yasu,Ka-yu,Kiyo and Teiba
decide to form a band;Ka-yu,however,soon leaves and is replaced by Ino.
1991 : You joins and the guys
decide to adopt "Janne Da Arc" as a name for the band.
1992 : In March, Chiba leaves
and is replaced by Shuji, who joins as a support member;in Sept. Ka-yu
comes back,and two months later,they record their first demotape.
1996 : March, Shuji becomes
an official member and in May they manage to perform in their first
real concert,in "Naniwa Rocket".
1997: July, they release
their first official demotape,called "Resist".
1998 : April,release of their
first and second indies("Dearly" and "Resist") and two tours.
1999 : They get a proper
contract with "Cutting Edge" and leave the underground enviroment in
order to debut as a major band.
2000 : March, their first
album "D.N.A." is released.
2002 : They release
"GAIA",the album which finally turns them into one of the most
successful J-rock bands.
2003 : Their first concept
album,"Another Story" is released,preceeded by the successful
singles"Shining Ray","Mara no Tsumeato" and "Kasumi Yuku Sora Sei ni
Shite".
