plane. The plane arrives. Arnold is watching the people getting off for Lila.
Lila comes out of gateway. The past year has been good to her>

Lila: Wheres everyone else?
Arnold: Oh, they had other things to do. So how are you? How was the flight?
Lila: I'm great now that I'm here with you! The flight was scary, but I
survived. <Giggles>
Arnold: Good, I'm glad you did. I'm sure i would have been sad if you hadnt.

Lila: Yeah. <Walks with Arnold to baggage claim>
Arnold: What's your luggage look like?
Lila: It's green plaid.

<They get a taxi and arrive at the boarding house>

in while you're visiting the city.

<They go up to Lila's room>
Lila: Oh Arnold! It's ever so beautiful!

Lila: So, what do you want to do? Could we hang with the gang?
Arnold: Umm, I'm not sure where they are right now. We could walk around the
city and look for them. It's not too hot out yet.

<They head to the park first>

over the past year. I almost didn't recognize you.

Lila: So, um, how are you? Do you feel ok about the Helga thing?
Arnold: I feel fine. Why wouldn't I? We all made up and everything's fine now.
Lila: Oh, that's good. I wouldn't want you feeling sad or anything.
Arnold: Nah, I'm fine. So how's everything going in New York for you? What
part did you move to?
Lila: Long island. It's ok, though I miss all of you. Especially you, Arnold.
Arnold: <Blushes> So how's your school and all your new friends?
Lila: Oh, school is ok, my teacher wasn't nearly as nice as Mr. Simmons
though.
Arnold: Heh, at least he doesn't constantly say special and cry when school
ends.
Lila: And I've made some friends, but no one particularly special. Oh Arnold,
he's just sensitive.
Arnold: No, he's gay and sensitive.
Lila: Now Arnold, that's not nice. Just because he's sensitive doesn't mean
he's gay. That's just such an oh so derrogatory stereotypical phrase.
Arnold: I wasn't joking. Mr. Simmons is gay. He told the whole class this
year when he was really excited about his new boyfriend, Trevor.
