Gerald: Man! If you loved her, you'd be happy for her! And stop talking like
that to her! Be mature like you supposedly are!
Arnold: Why do you keep saying I should be happy?!?! I think I should be
everything and anything but!!
Helga: I guess you don't care about us as much as we thought, Arnoldo!
Arnold: What?!
Helga: You heard me!
Arnold: I did care about you, Helga!! But then you did this! Now I see that
you're nothing but a slut!! I thought you loved me, were insane about me!!
Now you leave me in a second for my EX- best friend!
Gerald: That's it!! You did not just call Helga that. And now that I'm not
your best friend anymore, I guess I'm free to do this! <Punches Arnold in the
face> That's for insulting my girl!!
Arnold: <Staggers back, shocked expression on face. Puts hand to nose. Pulls
his hand away and sees blood on it. Shock turns to anger. Grabs Gerald's
shoulders, shoves him down steps. Jumps down steps, grabs Gerald's shirt and
holds fist ready to punch>
Helga: <Starts crying> Arnold!!! No!!!
Arnold: <Half shoves, half lets go of Gerald's shirt. Voice heavy with
scorn> Neither of you are worth it! <Walks up the steps and enters the
boarding house. Slams door>
Helga: <Kneels next to Gerald>
Helga: Are you okay?
Gerald: I'm fine, babe. He didn't hurt me. Sorry you had to see that.
Helga: <Hugs Gerald> I'm just glad you're not hurt.
Gerald: Yeah, I'm a little shaken up though. Man, what's his problem?!
Helga: What do you think? I guess he really did still love me. God, I hate
myself right now.
Gerald: No, dont say that.
Helga: Well I do.
Gerald: He just needs some time to get over it. It'll all be ok eventually.
<Wipes away Helga's tears>
Helga: I hope you're right. <Kisses Gerald>
Gerald: <Kisses Helga>
Arnold: <Looks out window. Gets furious.> I can't look at them, they make
me sick. <Goes to room>
Grandpa: <Knocks on door>
Arnold: Who is it?!
Grandpa: Arnold! You ok?! I heard you slam the door all the way from the
office!
Arnold: I'm fine! Now leave me alone!!
Grandpa: You don't sound fine, should I bring you some happy pills?!
Arnold: <Sarcastic> Oh yeah, happy pills! Those will solve all of my f***ing
problems!! My girlfriend just left me for my EX- best friend, then we all
got in a fight and he punched me. I have a nose bleed and I've just been in
my first fight!! Happy pills are the perfect f***ing cure!!
Grandpa: Arnold, dont use that word! I'm coming in! <Opens door>
Arnold: See if I care! <Is pacing floor>
Grandpa: What's gotten into you lately?! You've been flying off the deep end
this year more times then I've gone to my Hedy Lamarr site!
Arnold: Didn't you just hear what I said?!
Grandpa: I did. Now why in blazes are you so bitter?
Arnold: Wouldn't you be in my stuation?!
Grandpa: So your girl left ya' for your best friend. Big deal, there are tons
of fish in the sea! Do you know how many girls me and Jimmy Kafka fought
over?!
Arnold: Do I care?! I dont need one of your uninspirational childhood tales
that don't work right now!
Grandpa: Alls I'm saying is, is it worth it to lose your friends?
Arnold: I wouldn't normally get mad at Gerald about Helga, it's the situation!
