The Lesson of the Alligator
I was talking to an alligator the other evening. He was trying to get close to a boat And eat everyone inside. "Why do you fellows violently chew these people to bits?" I asked him. "Because you like the taste of human flesh? If they were hunters, you would be the one to die. You are not clearly thought out." The alligator answered, "We get bored with sitting around all day. We crave the thrill of the bite And a tasty snack. It is worth more to munch happily and to risk being killed. It is better to be killed while attacking, Than to die as a log in the river." And with that, he went to the boat biting away. Then swam back happy. I do not agree with his violent nature. But then again, I see his point-of-view. |
