[Guilt Trip] ©

Ooh…the luring aroma from Breadtalk

Sweet freshly baked, cheese, ham, apricots

Succumbed to the heavenly calling

Softness so lovely

Bits of chocolate éclair

Down to my butt the crumbs rest

Regrets developed

Contemplated genuine disgust for cellulite infested thighs

An ass condemning J.Lo to shame

On my abdomen I crunched

Cross-country run’s never a chore

Exercises have always been my forte

Perspiration and adrenaline pump

Man! Rejuvenation from the grave!

Exhausted, I lay on my bed,

Ready for a good nap.

An air bubble in my stomach burst

“Growl!” came the reply.

Secretly I crept out of the blankets

To the fridge I went surreptitiously

Junk Food Galore!

I’ve gotta stop this rumbling before my folks come running!

Indulgence, what a sin.

Off I go on a roller coaster guilt trip.
