San Luis Obispo
This is a quiet little town along the Pacific coastline, located right about half-way between Los Angelees and San Francsico.  We visited Hearst Castle on our first day there, a castle that sprouted right in the middle of rocky moutain terrains.   The grandeur of its numerous bulidings were just spectacular, and  the blue-sky that day just made the pool even that much more magnificent.
We arrived at our hotel around 4 in the afternoon, and I saw a row of bikes right outside our door, bikes - the very thing Ben knows squat about!
See, he knows SQUAT about riding bikes!
It was the day of Christmas, and all the shops and facilities were closed...  So, I suggested a day of adventure.  I taught Ben how to ride a bike.  Even though  it was a pathetic attempt on his effort to say the least, it was an hour of free entertainment!
Soon, in order to regain his dignity, he took me on a round of golf.  Let's just say that I was a very professional caddie...
While we were checking out of our hotel on the third day, we've discovered that we were such  noisy guests that the front-desk actaully rememebered our room number.  However, the lady was still nice enough to bear with us for one more minute, and offered to take a picture for us.
