| Ok, I didn't draw this one, but I did take the picture. It was taken in Chicago and has not been altered in any way. There was a mound of tulips in the middle of one of the walkways and I actually had to lay on the ground and point the camera upward to get this picture. I'm very happy with how it turned out. In fact, it was chosen to appear this year in Facets, the college literary/art journal. Of course, this scan isn't the best, I'm still learning how to use my scanner. But it's not bad. Anyways, I was most impressed with the mixture of old and new architecture in Chicago, and the combination of nature and modern city. So I got a lot of fairly nice photos of those types of things :) back |
