September 11, 2001
All over the world, on September 11, 2001, people were affected by the terrorist attacks upon the World Trade Center and Pentagon in the United States. Today, we have not forgotten these attacks nor the lives that were lost. This day will live on in our hearts for all eternity.
On September 11, 2002, Frenship High School hosted a memorial for those who died. Two hundred fifty red, white, and blue balloons were released in a ceremony. The flag was flown at half-mast in honor of those killed.
God Bless
Lord,
bless those who've lost someone
through the hatred of man.

Bless the mothers and fathers
who've lost their son and or daughter.
Especially those who lost their only.

Bless the children who've lost
their mother and or father.
For now they'll grow up without them.

Bless the husbands and wives who've lost
their one true love.
Especially those who haven't found theirs yet.

Bless the friends who've lost
their best friend:
the only one who truly knew them.

Bless the lives of the many fire fighters and volunteers
who've lost their lives trying to save others.

Bless the lives of the young men and women
who've enrolled in the army and navy
and who will now be sent to war.

Bless the nation,
that through this hard time,
we will stand united.

Bless the innocent lives
our nation has already lost.

God bless America.
