I sit here wishing and wanting to be in your arms

To feel your warm embrace, surround and protect me

To feel your lips touch mine,

To hear your voice oh so fine

To have you would be the sun and stars glowing in the twilight sky

To lose you would be the end and I would die

With these words I do not lie

for that would be a sin against my God and you

to be with you right now would be my dream come true

To live without you I would feel hollow and empty

Without you I would be incomplete

With you I am complete,

The stars in perfect harmony

An angel has flown down and filled my lonely life with love

With friendship and a need to be with you.

To understand you is a wish that came true

You say you love me and I fly

I say I love you and you glow

With these feelings it must be true

To feel light as air

To dance across the green-blue earth

I would walk through fire for you

I would travel upon the oceans blue

Just to be with you

From the bottom of my heart it's true

So don't break this heart that I give to you
