anyway, of course Misty likes Ash.
He's cute, sweet, and he's SO loving and caring!
OK, so you want some proof that she likes him? fine

First of all, WHY is Misty even following Ash at all??
Nope, i don't think it's her bike, she's just using it as an excuse to follow him. In the 3rd episode, she even said that 'Ash really does love Pokemon'.
She realizes that although he's a VERY boastful and egoistical guy, he has a sweet side!

In fact, even if Ash DID buy a new bike for her, she'd stay. of course, she'll have to think up a REALLI good excuse like "I'll miss Pikachu" jokeing. it's more like...
" I want to learn more about Pokemon and following you is the best way to"
hey, that's a good one!
But of course Ash wouldn't want Misty to leave because he likes her too!
I'll go to the 'Ash liking Misty' part after the 'Misty liking Ash part'.

ok, back to the proof.
Remember when Rudy, (that gym leader guy who likes Misty) asked Misty to stay with him, Misty chose to follow Ash. Can you believe it? 'dumb' Ash over this guy? i can. Ash is HEAPS better and cuter. ^_^

Another perfect evidence is Misty's Song. Look at the lyrics here or on my main page.

Ok, Does Ash like Misty?
of course. Have you heard of Love/Hate relationships? Well, this is a PERFECT example. This seem like they hate each other but deep inside, they really care about each other. that's just what Nurse Joy said.
And remember the episode where Misty was in a deep sleep caused by Hypno's waves, Ash was VERY worried about Misty. you might be thinking, "well, that doesn't mean he likes her"
True, but if Brock was in Misty's place, Ash wouldn't have worried THAT much!

Another proof that Ash likes Misty is in the Gastly episode when Ash had to catch a Ghost pokemon to defeat Sabrina. When Ash was "dead", Misty was worried. She said "Why is Ash taking so long?"
Ash (as a ghost) said " So you really DO care about me" like, why would he care if he didn't like her??

Misty also got really jealous because Ash was all 'goo-goo' over Giselle in "School of Hard Knocks"
Ash was all weird and said stuff like "She's the prettiest girl!"
Misty got all hot and when they were talking about Giselle having a bad attitude, Ash said something like"well, SOME people act twice as bad as they look"
*that was really offensive* Misty even had a "cat-fight" with Giselle, about how beauty is only skin deep. Ash wanted to do something...what would he do??

And in the 2nd Pokemon Movie, Misty got all jealous over Melody because she was flattering Ash and stuff like that.

At the end of the Maiden Rock episode, the part of the Japanese festival, when Misty came out, dressed in a kimono with her hair down, Ash was just looking at her. ^_^
