Final Fantasy X
FFX features something that has never before been in an FF game before: voice acting. That's right, folks. Now we know what the characters sound like. Unfortunately, some of the acting is a little iffy, which was a bone of contention for many players. Another problem many have had seems to be the relative ease of the game. Few bosses are really that difficult, and the last boss is a joke to many. Many also have complained that the game is too linear. Still, with outstanding graphics and a great story, FFX is one of the best titles out there.

The Story:
Our tale begins in a city called Zanarkand. Tidus, a young blitzball player, is plying his trade when an enormous creature called Sin attacks. He ends up getting sucked into Spira, a world that was once highly technologically advanced, before the coming of Sin, that is also under the control of a corrupt religion that worships a being called Yevon. He joins a summoner named Yuna on her quest to defeat Sin. And thus begins this story.

The Characters
Tidus:The game's protaganist. He is a very cheerful and optimistic guy, but also has his introspective moments.
Yuna:The love interest. She's the daughter of the summoner who defeated Sin 10 years earlier. Another character, Auron, says this of her at one point: "She's na�ve, stubborn to a fault, and doesn't ask for help."
Auron:Auron is typically rather quiet, and a bit on the sarcastic side. Not much is known about him, other than the fact that he guarded Yuna's father, Braska, on his journey to defeat Sin.
Kimahri:Another of Yuna's guardians. He's a member of the Ronso tribe, and has a very cat-like appearance. He also says extremely little. He's watched over Yuna since she was very young.
Lulu:She's like an older sister to Yuna, having known her since she (Yuna) was seven. Lulu is the group's black mage, and her spells can really pack a punch, if you take the time to build her up.
Wakka:If Lulu is like Yuna's big sister, Wakka is like her big brother. He lost a brother to Sin a year before the events in the game (who just so happened to have been Lulu's fianc�). Much like Tidus, he is also a blitzball player.
Rikku:A perky young Al Bhed girl (the Al Bhed being a much despised race, sort of like gypsies in Middle Ages Europe). She's the group's theif, and can steal some very handy items.
