IT which
stands for Information Technology can be described as many things. IT can basically be anything that furthers
technology by various means such as design, installation, hardware, software,
or anything related to technology. The
basis of IT is that the technology is a means of moving information and all
aspects of the technologies used whether it be installing them, maintaining
them, updating them, or even developing them.
These technologies will better help the flow of information and help
keep people receiving and sending information all over the world no matter how
large or small. An IT professional is
the person who is responsible for task assigned to them to help in the flow of
information. They could be a network
administrator, webmaster, systems analyzer, programmer, hardware designer,
systems administrator, computer technician, or even a custom computer
builder. All of these jobs and people
will help keep the information moving through electronic means. This information will flow through networks,
servers, routers, and all throughout the internet. This is the key to Information Technology, to
make sure that everything is in place and working to keep information going
from one place to another and vise versa.
Like I said information technology can be describe as many things, but
mainly it is the means that allow information to flow and keep flowing all from
destination to destination.
