Ode To An Angel

As I snuggle up on the sofa,
I try to listen to the pitter-patter of the rain,
For days and nights I have wondered,
When My Angel call my name.

Whenever I'd see My Angel,
Clouds would clear up and the sun would shine.
Birds would sing, flowers would bloom.
My Angel smiles and everything is fine.

Whenever night falls,
I'd look at the evening sky,
I know, just for now, from me My Angel is far.
But I know one universal fact,
Whenever on earth, we see the same star.

As My Angel's eyes met mine,
I can now proudly say:
On the world, I'm on top.
I felt something never before,
Everything, including time, we made it stop.

Then in a blink of an eye,
My eyes budged to move
My love to My Angel
I have not proved.

Why do I have to suffer from all this pain?
Will I ever gain My Angel's love?
My Dear Angel, you're driving me insane!

But I never lose hope,
For as long as my heart can tell,
Somewhere, someday, somehow,
I can finally call you My Angel.
