XScreensaver Control

This program is created through the use of Gambas, and is made for Linux/Unix.

I created this program because I have noticed that while I'm watching dvds and movies the screen saver turns on and is quite a nuisance. I figure this would also be a problem with power point presentations if anyone uses Linux for that.

This program basically disables Xscreensaver when you tell it to, in an easy to use GUI system. As well as containing a couple other features including:

-Help

-Manual screen saver activation,

-Preferences

-Add to startup

Plus the main features:

-Start

-Stop

For starting and stopping Xscreensaver from turning on.

Not sure if the executable will work on all systems, I'm on Ubuntu, so it will probably work there but if not take the Gambas project files and compile them in Gambas for your system through the “Make Executable” function
