Hemp belts, constructed from some of the thickest and strongest industrial hemp available, give a natural look to khakis, jeans, and even slacks. Each strand of hemp is tested at over 150 pounds, meaning that the belt itself is capable of withstanding weights in excess of at least 300 pounds of applied force, so you'll never have to worry about your little brother pulling your pants down again. Plus, you're protecting the environment by conserving leather. The above belt is made with six strands of hemp in an alternating square knot fashion, making it completely adjustable (there are diamond-shaped holes between each knot). Other styles can be done, such as a 3-strand braided belt, but they may not be as adjustable. If you are looking for something to fit those smaller belt loops, a medium-strand hemp can be used instead. These belts take at least several hours to make, so please remain patient on the delivery time!
Note: It is extremely important to specify waist length. The default size, if not specified, will be about 36 inches. If the belt must exceed 40 inches, a small extra charge may be incurred. |
