| I took off the bracket that holds all the electrical connections. Cleaned the bracket up. Used the grinder and wire brush to clean the plate and rear part of rocker panel. |

| After I finished brushing, (The photo's make it look like it is still rusty, I think it is the lighting in the garage. Trust me it is polished) I masked off the area around were I will be painting. |

| Applied the primer and paint to battery plate |
| While I was at it, I decided to spray the rear frame section. It turned out OK. I am going to wait until Saturday (3/16/02) to apply the spray on bed liner material to battery plate. Make sure the paint is good and dry. |
