I started taking off the body . First I removed the top. Next I removed the seat back and bracket. Then the access panel on top of the rear body section. And finally removed the bag well liner.
I took out the battery and cleaned a lot of mud and dirt out from under it. I highly recommend that TXT owners, take out the battery and clean often. The battery plate was slightly rusted. Nothing a wire brush and some paint won't fix.
Next I took off the sill plates, then drilled out the rivets that hold on the rocker panels. Another place where mud was hiding. Next I disconnected the choke pull and plate from body.
I took the bagwell liner out and took off the scuff plates, and cleaned it up a little.
Drilling out all the rivets came next. This was a real pain. But the body came off without a problem.
I took the floor mat off too. Next I will be attempting to take the dash and front cowl off. Then I see a lot of cleaning in my future.
