| The darker Menuki is a pre 1800 from Japan made in Copper .It is the Shape of a Mochi Ponder (rice that is pounded into a sticky mass and flavored to make sweets) The Original was purchased as a single and the owner wanted another one made for a set to mount on a Wakizashi or Katana size blade in future. Spec's 1 1/2 inches long 3/8 wide 1/8 thick . Thne new one needs to be Patina by leaving it out in the weather for a few weeks : ) Henry . A 07-07-2005 |
