Saya is made from Poplar  with a thread renforcment @ the Koigochi and a Hickory Kurigata that will be used to secure the Saya to the Naginata  when not in use for extra safety factor and not relying solely on the friction fit of the Habaki to keep things together
Saya will be lacquered at a latter date , picture show's the fit of the Tsuba to the Saya with Ana cut out matching the Kurigata

Tsuba  3/16 mild steel plate  with Hitsu Ana  , Patina is browned steel
Fuchi and Ishizuki , the Fuchi is Mild steel of welded construction  with the face plate Hi temp Silver brazed in . The Ishizuki is mils steel base  with a 1090  Axe  Heli arc to the base  . These pieces have yet  to be patina / browned
This is a standard Kris Cutlery Naginata II Blade  that will be mounted in a 2 pieces Shaft and inletted like a Tsuka core then Glued bound/reinforced  and Lacquered  . Mounting pictures will follow at a latter date.
