At the age of 14 I started attending the local college with the permision of high school teachers and college teachers. Because of my age I had to be approved to attend college courses. I took Art of Photography, Fundumentals of Photography, History of Photography, along with many "How To" photo classes. I have trained with some of the best Photographers in Arizona. Attended many long and infromative lectures by some of Arizona's most highly acclaimed Photographers. At the end of my training and High school years I was 19 credits into my major in Photo Journalism. |

In High School I was the Photo Editor for the School newspaper. I was also one of the top award winning photographers for the schools yearbook staff, shooting mostly sports. It was then that I discovered the art of Rodeo Photography. And I fell in love with it. I made that my desire. I am on a goal setting fast track to hopefully one day get my Photographers PRCA Rodeo card. Yes the PRCA gives a limited number of cards to attend and photograph the PRCA events. |

Rodeo, though my object of choice, is not the only thing I photograph. I found a intrest in the whole cowboy/cowgirl/country/western/farm way of life. I often find myself out early in the morning to catch a shot of the foals morning feeding, gettin down on the ground to get a shot of a chicken with ruffled feathers, picture of a dusty old saddle hangin on a fence. Whatever the time day/night, I always have my camera set and ready to shoot, with hopes of that one perfect shot. I have boxes and boxes of photos I have shot over the years. I have plans on applying for space at the local art museum to hold a photo show, and I am putting together a photo book compiled with the best of Diamond W . |
