Waitin on a Cowboys Heart

I sit alone under the dark blue sky, dreamin of love tales from long ago
Warm breeze blowin the flames of the fire, half moon hangin low
Hearin the cries of the lonely night, sitin alone in the moonlights glow

I lay my head down, look up at the stars, as one seems brighter than all
I stare at it with wish in mind, as to me, it seems to call
And as I make my wish, close my eyes, I see my bright star fall

Early I awake, sounds of the morning, air is crisp and clean
Birth of a new day, flowers bloom, sun shines proudly beam
With thoughts of you, I thank my star, a dream come true is seem

I'm not sure if he heard my wish, made on a star so bright
I will make that wish every chance, the day turns into night
I will not give up my wish, and dreams, untill I win this fight

Someday my wish will finally come true, a new love will take start
Two lives will join to form one, and vow to never part
