Catching A Dream
Bright eyes of a young little boy
Blue and wide open at his new toy
Daddy tied a rope to a broom
turned him out with plenty of room
a boy and a broom to us it may seem
but to him, a pony, he was catching a dream
He looks back at years gone by
His pony, the broom, how time did fly
Now he wanted a bigger and better thing
unleashing all that his dreams can bring
Now after a dream with a fear unknown
A fear that he must face alone
With such a want running through his veins
willing to endour any lever of pains
a man and machine meet one day
timed to 8, hes in it to stay
Now with a need racing through his heart
His greatest ride has taken start
For his new life he's making plans
Getting used to cheers and his many fans
To a new level has risen this cowboy
Started by a broom, his pony, his toy
Bullriding, a danger, to us it may seem
But to him, this cowboy, is catching a dream
