The HW version is somewhat more of an updated Burago, some of the screw holes are the same. A few minor exterior details are noticed when comparing the 2: Hot wheels Burago Drivers side mirror nope front turn signals are painted amber silver brake rotors are silver black front air inlet on hood(front) is black body color tailights are amber, red, white amber inside of exhaust pipes is black chrome
When you open the engine compartment on both cars, the details are quite noticable. The HW version is alot more detailed! Burago uses too much chrome still on their models. When the front bonnet is open, the Burago is just bare metal, some plastic & a spare tire. The HW car is black plastic with a spare tire molded in. The interiors on both cars need improvement. Both use stickers for gauges. The HW's interior is all black, not much detail. The Burago version at least uses some different colors, even if they are wrong. I changed the wheels on the Burago TR to those from the Burago Ferrari 456 GT. They look better then the stock ones, IMO. These cars can be found at most stores that carry Burago or Hot Wheels 1/18 cars. YThey can usually be found for $10 or less(even off Ebay, thats where the red HW came from, $9.99)
