I like the Revell a little more then the HW, it just looks better overall. The fender bulges on the HW look too exaggerated. The HW is also a little bigger then the Revell. The interior is slightly better on the Revell. In the HW, the center gauge cluster is just a sticker, whereas the Revell has indivudual stickers set back in the dash. The cool thing in the HW is that it has the L88 warning sticker. IMO, the engine is better in the HW, theres just more detail. The other problem when comparing these two is that one engine is an L89(Revell) & the other engine is the L88. Another thing to remember is that the Revell mold has been around since 1992. Prices vary on these. You can usually get the Revell for $20-50. The HW runs for $15-50, depending on how rare it is( I picked up the white one for $12 off Ebay). |
