10/31/04 Went to Jimmy Eat World, Henry Fonda, 10/29/04. Wow, two setlists in two weeks.  Someone backstage handed me the light guy's setlist.  

10/28/04  New (autographed) setlist for the collection.  It's written on the back of a currency exchange slip.  I have the address of one Jerimiah N. from San Dimas.  You need to shred things like that Jerimiah.  

10/02/04  Oops.  Free show is next week.  When I have class, of course.  Oh well.  Can't wait for new stuff to come in. 

09/30/04 Sick, sick, sick.  Maybe I'll mossey on down to the free show with Supertramp and Trashcan Sinatras tomorrow.  Maybe I won't.

9/10/04 Resident Evil 2 today!  Solas tonight!

8/27/04 Went to street scene.  Saw Jimmy Eat World, AFI, and Social D for 20 bucks.  And 5 hours in the car.  Good show.  Good show.

08/26/04  Saw the Donnas and Ben Kweller at Sunset Junction.  Going to SD Street Scene.  Friday only.  I think.

7/30/04  It's been good.  Saw the free Jem instore (she's a Dido clone), Rachael Yamataga and Cameron McGill at Hotel Cafe and Green Day's secret pre-Japan tour show.  Fairview changed their name to GreatOK (stupid name!).  It's supposed to be temporary, but, who knows.  They ended up opening for Tsunami Bomb and both put on a really good show.

6/26/04 Saw Lacuna Coil.  They did a 15 minute acoustic set.  It took longer for me to get there than it did for them to play.  They're neat though.  Saw Ambulance LTD.  Interesting blend of music .

06/16/04 I've been listening to Poe 3/2/96.  She has a cellist on that tour.  "Angry Johnny" is an especially good song with a cellist.  Hmm. 15 new shows in! Hazah!

6/6/04 Saw Amp Fiddler.  I should have about 20 new cds coming in.  I'm so excited.  

05/21/04 Saw Ozma, Get Set Go at Mr. T's Bowl.  Weird, weird venue.  Get Set Go has great, upbeat songs about suicide and breaking up.  Ozma was o.k.  

04/26/04 Rode the new Tower of Terror  four times at CA Adventure.  It opens May 5. The entry reminds me a bit of the Haunted Mansion, but the set is a hotel at the golden age of Hollywood.  The ride is like freefall on a bungee cable plus the Twilight Zone and it's  best ridden at night.

04/25/04  Saw an advance screening of "Super Size Me".  If you liked Fast Food Nation, eat lots of fast food,  don't eat lots of fast food ,  thought people suing fast food chains was funny or not funny,  or  like well done documentaries, see this movie.   

04/09/04 Gone to Vegas.   I can't wait for this next trade to come in.  Missed the Neilds show.  Sadly.

03/14/04  Saw Vienna Teng on 3/4 at Hotel Cafe.  She performed with a cellist and violinist.  I was quite impressed.  They were acoustic, it was noisy, and I was standing next to the bar.  Saw Lucy Kaplansky on 3/12 at McCabe's.  I like McCabe's.  I really like Lucy.  The new album is a tad mellow, but still, it's all about the voice.  

02/15/04  Went to Spaceland on the 12 and saw Wolf, 1984, and Run Run Run.  I really liked Wolf, but unfortunately I got there late.  Not in to 1984.  Way too mellow for me.  Run3 was alright.  They were rather heavy on the light show.  Oh well.  

10-29-03  There are fires to the north, south, and east.  A welcome home indeed! Looked like a post-nuclear sky.  :(

3-20-03 Sahara Hotnights

3-03-03  Went to Ataris record release show.  

3-01-03 Saw a bunch of Michelle Rodriguez movies and Enough, with Jennifer Lopez.  It was ( surprisingly) very good. 

2-28-03 Saw Ok Go.

2-05-03  Fairview played the same set over again.  Come on!  

1-22-03 Saw the Ataris, Fairview, and Onelinedrawing in the span of five days.  Went to the Ataris video shoot for In This Diary.  I'm in the crowd.  I'm wearing a burgundy shirt. Look for me.  Fairview rocked.  I got a sweatshirt.  It's really warm.  I feel some latent guilt for bargaining for it.  Jonnah dances funny.  

1-7-03 More Chevelle than I know what to do with.  Went to show.  Was impressed with Emm Gryner.  Fisher was sick, but sang  really well anyway.
