Out & About 2002
Foxton Locks in Leicestershire are an amazing piece of engineering.  There are ten locks in all along this stretch of the canal, with a lock keeper's house at either end.  The one at the bottom has been turned into a pub which serves very nice lunches! The beer ain't bad either!

In October 2002 we went to Devon on our annual holiday, as we did last year.  Dene and Ian visited Crownhill Fort in Plymouth and had a brilliant time there.  They love anything to do with cannons and guns.  Crownhill has the only Moncrieff Disappearing Gun in the world, although it is only a replica so it doesn't work quite as it's supposed to.
