| Foxton Locks in Leicestershire are an amazing piece of engineering. There are ten locks in all along this stretch of the canal, with a lock keeper's house at either end. The one at the bottom has been turned into a pub which serves very nice lunches! The beer ain't bad either! |

| In October 2002 we went to Devon on our annual holiday, as we did last year. Dene and Ian visited Crownhill Fort in Plymouth and had a brilliant time there. They love anything to do with cannons and guns. Crownhill has the only Moncrieff Disappearing Gun in the world, although it is only a replica so it doesn't work quite as it's supposed to. |
