Review by Maria
The Princess Diaries is about a teenage girl named Mia who doesn't seem to fit in anywhere. Her only friends are her Mom, and school mates Lily and Michael. Then one day, her grandmother, from a country called Genovia, visits Mia to tell her that her father, who is dead, was Prince of Genovia making Mia Princess of Genovia. Mia is faced with the choice of having to leave her home and friends and move to Genovia to become a princess or remaining where she is and declining her princesship.

The Princess Diaries was a wonderful family film. However, I found that it was more PG than G worthy. For there was one scene in which, although she was pretty covered, Mia had only a wrap covering herself.
This movie is likely to appeal to girls rather than boys; however, it may appeal to certain boys as well.
           I found
The Princess Diaries to be a very enjoyable movie, and I would highly recommend it.
