| Servicing the community is one of the primary goals of Chi Upsilon Sigma. Every chapter and colony performs community service on their campuses and/or in their local communities. The type of community service varies from school to school, depending on what the Women at their particular school and local community see fit. The Sisters of Chi Colony take pride in servicing the community and have participated in services from tutoring at a local elementary school at State College, to raising funds for AIDS research and walking in the Philadelphia and New York City AIDSWALKs, to promoting Breast Cancer Awareness, and much more. On a national level, Chi Upsilon Sigma's national philanthropy is the "I Have A Dream Foundation", also known as IHAD. All chapters support our national project through promoting IHAD and educational awareness at their respective schools and by raising funds to donate to IHAD.
