| A sorority that would educate, elevate and empower women was what one young Latina set out to find during the spring semester of 1998. She searched for a family bond, a "Sisterhood: for which she could call her own, and whats he found was Corazones Unidoes Siempre, Chi Upsilon Sigma National Latin Sorority, Incorporated. It was not until Fall of 2000 that she began to pursue her dream. With the guidance of the sisters of CUS, Katherine Santiago made her long awaited goal a reality. On December 9,2000 the 22nd Chapter of CUS was established at the Pennsylvania State University-Main Campus. |
