| In an effort to help women familiarize themselves with our Sisters and Sisterhood, all undergraduate chapters have voluntary interest groups, known as "Organization of Women Looking for Sisterhood in Chi Upsilon Sigma" or "O.W.L.S. in CUS." The ideals set forth to participants of O.W.L.S. in CUS are to: Achieve academic excellence. Promote and gain a greater appreciation of various cultures. Enhance leadership skills through fundraising and community service activities. Become a productive member of their respective colleges or universities and the community-at-large. |

| Share an O.W.L.S. in CUS memory ~ In July of 2001, a Philadelphia area OWLS in CUS social was held. During the day, we went to the Puerto Rican Festival at Penn's Landing, then headed to the home of a Sister [Jennifer A. Melendez] for a potluck dinner and social. The day ended with a sleepover. I really had a great time that day/night. It was really fun meeting OWLS and Sisters from other schools and spending time with them. ~ Maria J. Andujar |
