Go-Kart

The Go-Kart is done except for the brakes. I still need to mount the brake disc caliper and the pnematic piston to drive it. The throttle cable also needs replaced (its ruined). The 60 tooth sprocket I have on it is to small so I have poor accelleration. I messed up on the gearing. I thought that the engine would only get up to 3600 RPM and I wanted to go at least 35MPH.
Later I found out that the engine gets up to 6800 RPM. That means I that the way I geared it should have made it go 73MPH. That is if I had a long enough stretch of road, the guts to try it, and most of all good brakes! I bought a 72 tooth sprocket to rectify the situation, it will be geared to go 60MPH when I bolt the sprocket on.
