Yu-Gi-Oh Gone Amiss

This section is devoted to all the humorous things that take place in the world of Yu-Gi-Oh.

This shot is taken from the movie where the subtitles aren't that great. For some reason they like to refer to the "Dark Magician" as the "Dark Pharmacist."

This shot is taken from the first episode where Yugi says to his grandpa, "you are so dirty." Yugi can sure be mean sometimes.

This is from the fourth episode when Yugi and the gang arrive at Duelist Kingdom. As soon as they get off of the ship Jonounchi sneezes on Anzu. For some reason they didn't put this in the english version.

This is quite odd. Pegasus saying Yugi is cool. I don't get it either. I guess Pegasus just respects Yugi at this time instead of just wanting to get his soul.

I think that this roots from Mokuba's name meaning Wooden-Horse so they sometimes refer to him as that. They also show how in the japanese version Mokuba holds the key to the lockers that the deed for Kaiba Corporation is in while in the english version Pegasus has Mokuba so he can control the company through him.

This is the shadow of the gun as the men that work for Pegasus approach the room that Kaiba had been hiding out in. I don't know if they had this shot in the english version of Yu-Gi-Oh with just with the gun edited out or if they didn't even have the shot at all.

This shot is where the men shoot at Kaiba after finding him in his room making the duel disks. In the english version they show him lift up his briefcase for some reason but then nothing bounches off so it just looks wierd.

Even more people have guns now searching for Kaiba. This takes place when the men sent by Pegasus to find Kaiba start to search his house for him. Those are nice silencers that they have on their guns.
Is there something wrong with this picture? This picture is taken from the first series where Kaiba was given green hair. This will make more sense around episode 98.

This shot is taken from the first episode where Yugi refers to his dear old grandfather as, "Dr. Demon Grandpa." This is yet another example of bad translation.

This shot is from the japanese closing of Yu-Gi-Oh where the subtitles are once again messed up. All I know is that Yugi and his friends do shower alone. They really need to have Yugi and the gang go snowboarding in the show.

This takes place right after Mokuba escapes from where Pegasus was holding him. I guess Pegasus was planning on eating Mokuba that day.

Like the Mokuba and wooden-horse mix up, I think that Seito Kaiba actually means Lion Seahorse. So like Mokuba they also sometimes refer to Kaiba and his company as seahorse. Also for some reason they like to refer to Pegasus as Pacassi...maybe translators just can't spell very good.

This shot is where Pegasus' men find where Kaiba had been hiding working on his duel disks. In the english version they showed this but they were pointing empty hands at Kaiba for some reason. Why do they have to edit this out in America?

Kaiba kicks some chairs at the men that were sent by Pegasus to find him so that he can jump out of the window. This was yet again shown in the english version but just with no guns in their hands.

Pegasus' men break into where Kaiba had been hacking the duel between Yugi and the person pretending to be Kaiba. To their suprise Kaiba isn't there. I can just see them all saying, "where's Kaiba?"
