And the Annoying Toolbars...
Some of the effects of it are:
- Causes frequent Internet and Windows explorer crashes
- Changes system registry files making deletion dangerous
- Downloads software without your consent
- Increses the amount of popup adds you get
- Places links to lop.com into your favourites
- Tracks your site visits
- Hijacks your startpage and changes it to lop.com or one of its many clone sites such as thko.com
- It changes its name to random things, or the name of another toolbar
As you can see this tollbar has many, many annoying affects. There is also another silver toolbar which appears at the bottom of your web browser. This toolbar also links to lop.com
I am yet to find out how to delete this thing, I have run a few spyware scanning programs and none of them seem to be able to get rid of that thing!
