The clubs at Curry play a big part in the success of our school. Each club does its fair share in each event it does or takes place in. For example, the Student Government Association puts together Curry's homecoming events each year and Key Club helps with the American Red Cross blood drive each year in the gym. The clubs at Curry not only benefit the school, but can benefit the students involved also. Being in clubs gives each member a chance to take a bigger part in and voice their opinions about our school. Many educational oppurtunities are available by joining clubs. One major thing colleges look for are students that took part in their school's extra-curricular activities, and clubs are a good way to become involved. Other opportunities involved give student a chance to mature in many ways. They learn leadership skills, social skills, and learn many valuable lessons about friendship and team work. And to be a member of a club involves a lot of team work, as each student plays their own part to keep their club together and functioning.
