RUTLEDGE, MARIE

JANESVILLE-Marie Rutledge, age 74, of 1712 Barham Ave., died Friday, July 1, 1988 at the Janesville Health Care Center. The former Marie Welsh, daughter of John F. and Esther Curry Welsh, was born July 11, 1913 in Durand, Illinois. She lived in Janesville most of her life and formerly owned and operated Janesville Floor and Window Cleaning. She married Robert F. Rutledge April 2, 1934 in Illinois.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Roberta Crary of Janesville and Janet (Richard) Stark of Columbia City, IN; 2 sons, Thomas (Julie) Rutledge of Whitewater, and Paul (Karen) Rutledge of Beloit; 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Raymond Welsh and Lawrence Welsh both of Durand, IL; 3 sister: Margaret Laschok of Rockford, Lucille McWilliams of Durand, IL and Mildred Christian of Pecatonica, IL. She was preceded in death by 1 sister, Helen Chase, and 2 brothers, Harry Welsh and John Welsh.
