MARGARET MORAN IS SUMMONED; FUNERAL WEDNESDAY MORNING

After a lingering illness over a period of some months, Miss Margaret A. Moran passed away at 3:15 o'clock this morning at St. Anthony's hospital in Rockford. Among the surviving members of the family circle is a brother, Frank T. Moran, of Belvidere.

Miss Moran was a native of Shirland, Ill., one of eight children born to Thomas and Elizabeth Dailey Moran who preceded her in death. She was next to the youngest of the children, five girls and three boys.
Something over 40 years ago the family moved to Rockford and had since resided there.

Surviving members of the family are four sisters and two brothers. The sisters are Mrs. Mary McMahon, Mrs. Catherine Creagan, Miss Helen C. Moran, and Mrs. Maude Z. Miller, all of Rockford. The brothers are Frank T. Moran, of Belvidere, and Edward J. Moran of Tacoma, Washington. One brother, William P., died some years ago at Mobridge, South Dakota.

Miss Moran had a host of friends who will mourn her passing. She possessed outstanding womanly qualities, a true Christian character, and kindly traits which made her a family favorite and attracted many friends.
Friends may call at the Burpeewood funeral home, 420 North Main Street, between the hours of 2 and 5 o'clock Tuesday afternoon and from 7 to 10:30 Tuesday evening.

The funeral will take place at St. Peter's Catholic church at 9:30 o'clock Wednesday morning. Miss Moran whose hospital room had been liberally supplied with flowers made a request that flowers be omitted at the last rites and that is the request of the family to respect her wishes.
