MARY MCMAHON AGED 83, DIES.
Funeral Mass Will Be Celebrated Monday

Mrs. Mary C. McMahon, 83, 315 N. Winnebago St., a patient in Cherry Valley nursing home for a little over a year, died there at 9:30 am today. Oldest of eight children, Mrs. McMahon was born Oct. 24, 1867, in Shirland, Illinois, the daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Moran. She married Edward McMahon in 1887 at Beloit, Wis. His death occurred in 1926.

Her survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Anne Fitzpatrick and Mrs. Helen Kerhahn, both of Rockford; six sons, Stanley, John, Martin and Harold, all of Rockford; Ray of Durand, and Clyde of Loves Park; and a brother, Edward Moran, Tacoma, Wash. She was preceded in death by a son, Paul, and six brothers and sisters. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
