HARRISON FARM OWNER DIES AT HOME ON SUNDAY
Edward McMahon Rites Wednesday

Harrison, Aug. 16 - Edward McMahon, a resident of Harrison all of his life, died at 10:30 o'clock Sunday morning at his home. His health had been failing since suffering injuries in a runaway accident 15 years ago.

Born in Harrison July 6, 1861, the son of John and Ann McMahon, life long residents of this locality. Mr. McMahon was widely known in farming circles throughout the vicinity of Harrison. He had resided at the McMahon homestead in Harrison all of his life.

Besides the widow, Mrs. Mary Moran McMahon, whom he married March 5, 1887, Mr. McMahon leaves two daughters, Miss Ann McMahon, Rockford, and Miss Helen McMahon, Harrison, and seven sons, Stanley, Ray, and Clyde, all of Harrison; Harold, of Pecatonica, and John, Paul, and Martin McMahon, all of Rockford. He also leaves 8 grandchildren. 

Burial will be in the Catholic cemetery at Rockford.
