Obituary for Catherine Curry

MRS. JOHN CURRY DEAD

Mrs. Catherine Curry died at her home in Rockford, at 11:45 last Friday night, after an illness of four weeks which had its inception in a stroke of apoplexy, a third stroke proving fatal.

Mrs. Curry was born in Muscatine, Ia., October 19, 1852, and was married to Mr. Curry in 1872. She had been a resident of Rockford for the past fourteen years.
She is survived by her husband John Curry and seven children, three daughters and four sons. Mrs. James Wall, of Rockton, one of her daughters, was at her bedside at the time of her death.

The funeral services were held at the late home at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning and at 9:30 at St. Mary's church. Burial took place in the Catholic cemetery at Rockford.
